There are great variations in the different types of stone and therefore the style in which it is walled; the smaller more uniform sandstones can be more easily ‘coursed’ and joints made tighter. A selection of the many mortared masonry projects carried out by the team in the last 10 years. our team has had specialist training in the the use of, and different applications for, lime mortar. This knowledge has mostly been used to repair pre 1900 buildings and walls. (please click images).
